Founded in 1964 in Davao City, the St. Francis Xavier Regional Major Seminary was established to serve the entire Mindanao-Sulu region. For over half a century, we have formed generations of priests through our comprehensive Philosophy and Theology programs, guided by the vision of preparing dedicated and compassionate shepherds for the Church.
A rigorous undergraduate formation focusing on critical thinking, classical philosophy, and laying the intellectual groundwork for theological studies.
Graduate-level theological formation leading to degrees in Systematic Theology or Pastoral Ministry, preparing candidates for ordination.
A dedicated pre-theology year designed to help candidates deepen their prayer life and spirituality before beginning formal theology studies.
